Consumer Education: "Be aware of your rights"

May 15, 2023

Consumer education involves measures to inform the consumer, who is seen as in need of protection about their 8 consumer rights. I have learned and realized a lot. As a Future Educator, I would say that consumer education is important because it helps us inform consumers when it comes to decisions and purchases and communicate our rights. I also realized that we have the right to have basic needs. Our parents are responsible to give us our basic needs like shelter and clothes. But not all parents can provide these basic needs of poverty and lack of knowledge about family planning and how to handle a family because some of them are the root of teenage pregnancy that arise here in the Philippines. As a Future Educator, I want to teach my future students to be responsible. Every decision in our life has a consequence. Whether it's for good or bad it has a consequence that's why we choose to be kind and responsible in everything we do in our lives.
